  • The application toolbar gets a makeover altogether. It has been redesigned both for better usage and consistency across all products included in Oracle’s portfolio.
  • Integrating a global search tool allows users to search on the go and access information quickly. Every individual product offers prebuilt searches, including hints and help backed by a search assistant.
  • Offering more flexibility, the zone layout feature in Redwood, includes both flexible vertical and horizontal control for better content visualization.
  • More options of dashboard personalization offer a dynamic and far more flexible support including better location configuration.
  • Created to be more efficient, the Redwood experience focuses on minimizing mouse mileage – the screens and layouts are designed in a way that does not require much movement to navigate.
  • The new support features include markers and inclusion of additional information into a log. This helps in resolving issues faster and more efficiently. 
  • The new user experience has employed new ways of exposing data in an innovative and efficient manner by introducing two new web components: Insights and Trees. It also supports insight visualizations appearing in the form of badges, inline, lists and cards. 
  • Integration of the new Redwood experience allows for a badge to be added on the top screen. This helps create a clear distinction between environments.

All the features of the Redwood Experience are currently optional, with the vision that the legacy experience will be discontinued in the long run. However, to make Redwood more efficient and user-friendly, frequent experimentations and transitions are in process.
